The blog now has different randomized backgrounds for your appreciation, because I like that sort of gimmick!

Okay, let's actually write a post.

Let's talk about the changes on this website. It used be a static react/next app, where I wrote the posts as hard coded components and then called them to be rendered. Not anymore! We have a proper back-end and CMS now!

It's all very simple and tailored for my personal needs but my intention is to eventually make it agnostic to my blog and release the code for people to install their own blogs if they want to. For free, of course.

It also has the new dynamic backgrounds, but you already know that!

About my personal life, things are advancing, in baby steps. Right now I'm on staycations from work to recover to my massive seasonal burnout, caused in no small part by the big assignments I'm doing for college. But I'm almost done with college! I can have weekends again! Yay!

Buying the house is still far off in the distance due to some... cautions I'm taking. And also the house I really really really wanted is no longer for sale =(

But that's fine, I'll find an even better one when time comes!

Not everything is work and study tho, I've been partying!

But of course, that was a day where things happened lol

I got everything ready to go on my backpack because I decided it would be a better idea to dress up at the party than to drive all the way downtown wearing latex.

And good thing I did, because as I was 500m from home, I heard horrible metal grinding noises coming from under my car!

Apparently my exhaust pipe was rusted to bits and decided to fall down at that moment. I'm not complaining, I just did a 180 back home and called a uber.

Then I went to the party and had soooo much fun! I even tried a vacuum bed for the first time! When this website starts supporting video, I will upload it here!

Also all things considered, I think I was lucky that my car broke in my neighborhood instead of the express highway to downtown! And I'm also glad I wasn't wearing a tight mermaid tail latex dress when that happened =D

But then, the next business day, I took the car to the mechanic. I used the opportunity to also mention that the radiator fluid was going down too quick and that there might be some leak, but I noticed there were no puddles under the car, so where the fuck was the fluid going?

Inside the engine, of course. Years of negligence from my father (towards the car, not me this time) cased the cylinder head seal to erode and the fluid was mixing with oil, making a delicious mocca like substance that, turns out, is not good for the engine!!

And the cylinder head had to be redone! And that is not cheap!

Now I'm waiting for the car, that has been at the shop for over a month now, because the mechanic can't paralelize two tasks and order the new pipe while he worked on the engine. He waited for the engine to be done to work on the pipe. Unbelievable.

Aside from that all, I'm resting, I'm recovering, I'm working out, I'm getting bigger, I'm losing latex clothing because I got so buff it no longer fits me, I'm almost done with college and soon not only I'll have more free time and a safer car, but also more money to go out or buy latex!
